A unique set of dance music visuals using cymatics

We recently worked with iconic Dutch record label Armada Music on the creative direction and motion assets for their compilation ‘Schematic of ADSR’ and its associated singles. The overarching concept for the release series was to combine a graphic framework reflective of analogue synth schematics and cymatics, a process that creates a visual representation of sound using audio frequencies.

We utilised 5 shapes taken from the schematics as well as the Electronic Elements logo as a mask for the different visualisers utilising cymatics to create a digital ‘finger-print’ of each track.
